It is more blessed to give than receive
The teaching of Jesus about giving appeared to be contrary to logic, but indeed His Words are true even to this day. Recently an experiment was conducted in Malaysia to ascertain how the general public react to giving and receiving from strangers. It is heart warming to learn that many people have the heart for helping others and they do not mind giving. Even the poor are willing to give.
It is very touching to watch how the Nepalese workers are willing to give a beggar even though they do not earn much and their families back home are in dire needs of their monetary support. The matters are worst now that many of their families suffered from the recent earthquake in Nepal. Many are now homeless.
Watch the following video of the experiment done in Malaysia recently:
On the flip side, there is a video of a "beggar" who gives the money to strangers who pass by instead of he receiving the money from the strangers. Some people were rude, some could not understand, but best of all some insisted on giving the "beggar".
Just like Jesus taught : Acts 20:35 " In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
