This morning, Brother Teck Hwa led the Lord's Supper. Before, the prayers for the Lord's Supper, he blew the shofar ( trumpet made from ram horn. See picture), to signal a new beginning for FBC. He has this burden in his heart for FBC and our revival. Few weeks ago he blew the trumpet in the pre-service prayer meeting. Brother Malcolm invited him to share with all three congregations, the Iban, Chinese and English this morning.
Prayer and Consecration
This is the topic of his sharing this morning. Few weeks ago Brother Teck refered to Joel 2:15 "Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly". Our congregation were called to fast last week for this morning, because the Church wants to follow through with God's message for FBC. Our God is Holy Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4:8.
Command of our Lord, 1Peter 1:16. Luke 10:27 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart..., We are not to acknowlede any other gods, Hosea 13:4. We are to seek His kingdom Matt 6:33. We need to be close to God, John 15:4 "Remain in me, and I remain in you.... We have deceitful heart Jeremiah 17:9. Isreal went against God Jeremiah 7:23-4. We are to guard our heart Proverb 4:23.
God can purify us, cut off every branches John 15:2. Many will be purified Daniel 12:10, our Lord will circumcise our heart Deut 30:6. Let God create in us a pure heart Psalm 51:10, teach us His ways Psalm 86:11, God give us an undivided heart Ezekiel 11:19.

Brother Teck Hwa presented a shofar to our Church and it was received by the leaders of the three congregations.
Later Brother Teck Hwa called the congregation to step up front to be prayed for and many stepped forward. A sister was slained by the Holy Spirit.
Praise God for Brother Teck Hwa and also glory to God for lifting up the spirit of our Church! Oh God we thank you and praise you Amen.
