Latest news is that there is further allegation that the amount involved is Singapore 50 million. It has been alleged that subsequently a further $27 million was used to cover up the initial $23 miilion.
A Singapore theologian Reverend Dr. Daniel Koh rightly called for people not to speculate but let the laws of Singapore take their course. He asked Christians to prayer for City Harvest. He said, "Apart from praying, what Christians should do at this distressing time is to allow the law of the state to take its course."
As Christians any where this is indeed the right course of action on our part. Finally only God will judge.
