On Sunday 6th Sept 2009 Brother Alfred and Brother Alwin attended a meeting hosted by Pastor Matthew Ling at his house to discussed about matters relating to Focus on the Family, Kuching(FOF). The meeting was also attended by several other local Church Pastors. He wanted to find out whether FOF is contributing to the Churches here. He advised that he is assessing whether there is a need to keep a full time staff for FOF here in Kuching. One Pastor shared that he finds FOF important in helping the Churches with family issues. He also related how the youth in his Church in Miri benefitted from FOF courses like "NO Aplogies". All agreed that FOF is doing a good job and it is required in Kuching.
Pastor Matthew, Brother Alfred and another follow pastor will be conducting "Smart Start" program at Kingwood Inn in October.
